So I received a bottle of Maybelline's superstay better skin foundation from influenster.com. I Waited not so patiently for it to arrive. Checked the mail for the 500th time it seems and baam! It was there.
This foundation is supposed to stay on for a while and provide flawless coverage. While protecting your skin against nasty uv rays. With an spf of 15 it doesn't seem like that is enough for me and my pale self.it is also contains Actyl-c giving your face a brighter appearance while reducing spots and unevenness of skin tone every time you wear it.
The first thing I noticed from day one is that the foundation is quiet heavy. And sits on top of my skin making it feel greasy. It also sank into the pores in my nose giving it the appearance of huge blackheads. Not a good look if you ask me! So the next day I made sure to use my blackhead clearing scrub and use Maybelline's baby skin instant poreberaser first. This helped the appearnce of black heads greatly.
I used it for three weeks and discovered to my dismay that my skin didn't look any better that previously. This could be the change in hormones I am going through with nursing my newborn and going back to non pregnant level. But I don't know for sure. I do have to say I am extremely on the fence about this foundation. It did actually do better than I thought it would with only being an spf 15 I didn't get sunburned at all.
So in closing I would like to tell you don't let my review sway you..if you want to jump on the betterskinchallange I challenge you! Take the tree week challenge and let me know if you had better results than I did.
